Number Line Records is proud to release the split single Eurostar, the Musical / A Constant Rotation from UK indie pop band French Pop Dream and Some Gorgeous Accident.

The French Pop Dream is the new project of Duncan Steer (Pastel Collision/Kaleida) and French singer Anne Brugiere. Inspired by the sound of Francoise Hardy and the atmosphere of 1960s Paris, they collaborated with accordionist and piano player Myriam Gasser and producer Jamie West on the single, “Eurostar, the Musical,” a soft-voiced summer pop track about belonging, waitressing, and doomed romance. The video for “Eurostar, the Musical,” was shot by 19-year-old photographer Fanny Latour Lambert.

Some Gorgeous Accident’s D. describes the new single, “A Constant Rotation,” as a song about “time lost, time gained and lost again.” In the song, he says, “everything is gradually brought together by time, but is also shattered by it. It goes back, almost abruptly, to the beginning, although not quite in the same way. Like Taylor says near the end of the song, it’s cyclical. It turns into something both familiar and unfamiliar.”

The split single Eurostar, the Musical/A Constant Rotation is set to be released on August 14, 2013.
