In 2008, somewhere between Berkshire and the Pacific, D started Some Gorgeous Accident, a shoegaze-dream pop solo project named after a Blueboy EP and the first line of its third track, “Stephanie”. The band’s first release was the cassette EP Winter Watercolors released by Italian label Best Kept Secret. Some Gorgeous Accident returned early this year with an online single, Luminescence, which will be included in the forthcoming EP Imaginary Lines, to be released by Number Line Records. The new EP is the now California-based musician’s way of staying in touch with friends from home, collaborating with artists such as Archaster, The Wentletraps, Slow Hello, Carnival Park, and Outerhope.
