SOME GORGEOUS ACCIDENT

In 2008, somewhere between Berkshire and the Pacific, D started Some Gorgeous Accident, a shoegaze-dream pop solo project named after a Blueboy EP and the first line of its third track, “Stephanie”. The band’s first release was the cassette EP Winter Watercolors (released by Italian label Best Kept Secret). Some Gorgeous Accident returned in 2011 with an online single, "Luminescence," which was also included in their debut Number Line Records EP, Imaginary Lines. In the EP's lead single, "Panorama," D collaborated with label-mate Micaela Benedicto (Outerhope) to produce a track that has been described as "undeniably beautiful dreamgaze pop...lavished in gently evolving atmospherics" (MFM) and as setting "a delicately crafted, languidly hazy lo-fi atmosphere in a seemingly effortless manner" (Hearing Gold).
